With propper SSE and mod ini settings you can have uncapped or higher capped FPS without any problems. I have been playing with this setup capped to 143 FPS just to be sure for at least 30 hours along with ENB and tons of other mods and nothing bad happened so far. No physics glitches no CTDs everything runs buttery smooth.
The game is so much better now everything is responsive AF. At present theres no way to call your horse in Skyrim if it runs off you need to go find it or carry on on foot. If you quickmap your horse will travel with you but this doesnt always seem to.

Immersive Horses feels clunkier but I like that it makes the horses you buy from the cities more unique and into breeds similar to Oblivion and the unique horses actually special. I prefer it if I am doing a follower-less playthrough. I prefer the horse whistle from Immersive Horses because it seems quicker and lol is more immersive - as in usually the horse spawns somewhere off-camera nearby and you.
