I think the S-25 is a carbon frame. Dont get me wrong this bike is from the era that Schwinn made good mountain bikes but the technology is outdated. I fell victim to not doing my research.

Joined Jan 16 2004 38 Posts. Schwinn S25 21 Speed 26 Mens Mountain Bike EC - 189 Troy I have two identical Schwinn S25 21 Speed 26 Mens Mountain Bikes both in Excellent almost Like New Condition. They are priced at 179 each or 339 for both.
Both have had almost no use and have always been stored hung inside our attached garage. Ive been looking for a mountainroad bike mostly road for under 200 bucks and was wondering if this would be a decent bike for the price. It seems to have a lot of decent features for the price but I thought I better ask some pros It cost 19999 This is the description it gives.
